DPS Water/Alcohol Injection System

Update!!

You can now order the water/alcohol injection system with boost control only.  This will considerably shrink the size of the control box, and lower the price by $100.  It will still be the same system, just with the EGT controller left out.  If you have a custom tank that you want to use, you can also order the system(s) without the tank.

The DPS water/alcohol injection system is the highest quality, highest performing, water/alcohol injection system on the market for turbocharged light-duty diesel engines.  Period.  These are NOT water injection systems designed for import cars and adapted for diesel use.  These are designed and built from the ground-up, by diesel enthusiasts, for diesel engines.

The system is a 2 stage design, controlled by a combination of boost and/or EGTs.  You can set what you want each stage to activate with via switches in the cab.  (Example - Stage 1 boost, Stage 2 EGT, Stage 1 boost, Stage 2 boost, etc.)  Both stages can be individually turned off as well.

You won't find any plastic tubing or plastic nozzles on these bad boys.  The systems feature -

• Stainless steel braided tubing with JIC connections on the pressure side
• Heavy Duty Stainless steel plunger pump.
• 8 gallon tank, mounts in bed. (can be easily deleted from system and replaced by a custom tank if you want) This is the same tank that other companies are trying to sell as an "extra" for over $100.
• Ability to easily replace nozzles with different sized ones for a variety of applications.
• Capacity of 250psi and over 1.5GPM
• Weatherpack connections
• 300+ deg drop in EGT
• Gains of 40-90 hp and 100-190 lbs. ft. torque

The system pressure/flow is set via a knob on the pump.  The system includes a liquid-filled pressure gauge to monitor and set the injection pressure.  The EGT set points are set at the shop, and the boost set points are easily field-adjustable.  We offer over 15 different nozzle sizes to suit your application,

The water/alcohol injection systems are easily installed requiring only 2 wires to be tapped into the truck's power.  The rest of the connections are plug-in and go.

The systems allow you to run anything from straight water to windshield washer fluid to 50/50 water/methanol.

Water injection in engines has been around for a while.  It is popular in heavy duty truck and tractor pulling as a way of keeping the engines cool.  Running water injection on a diesel pickup truck can make EGT concerns a thing of the past.   By injection water into the intake, temperatures are dramatically reduced.  Adding methanol to the mixture enhances this effect.  Water injection can produce a 300+ deg EGT drop, while giving you a good power increase as well.
