The fuel system on '99 and newer Ford Powerstroke trucks has a few design problems.  These problems can cause poor mileage, loss of power, and noisy operation.  Some of the effected trucks also exhibit a noticeable knock at idle.

These kits were designed by Diesel Performance Specialists, Inc. and they address all the problems found in the fuel system

First, the an audible knock that occurs under acceleration between 1500 and 2000 rpm.  Engines that are knocking usually are also experiencing low power through the 1500-2000 band, poor fuel economy, and may or may not also have a knock at idle.  This is because of air being drawn into the fuel system and trapped there.

The kits work by adding an adjustable fuel return from the fuel rails in the cylinder heads back to the tank.  The air can then be evacuated from the fuel system.  Our kits are the simplest, highest quality, and easiest to install kits available.

Installing the kit provides - 

• - Better fuel economy (up to 5+ mpg in some cases)
• - Increased horsepower and torque
• - Quieter and smoother running engine
• - Quieter idle (idle knock reduced or eliminated)

The kits come with complete pictured installation manuals and can be easily installed by most owners.  They use a simple design requiring minimal disassembly and modification to the engine. 

We have also designed our kits with a "stealth" approach. By mounting the regulator under the cowl, our kit is barely noticeable. That might be an advantage if you take the truck in for service under warranty.

You can purchase the complete kit, or just the in-tank kit.  Installing the in-tank kit only has yielded noticeable results on most trucks.
